On the 24th and 25th of February 2017 Alexandria’s famous job fair is launched. This is the eighth year of Alexa Employment Fair, bringing new job opportunities to fresh graduates, employed, and unemployed. The event will take place in Mirage Hall, Down Town.
The event is organized by Target Recruitment; a renowned organization specialized in finding jobs for people and connecting the suitable candidates with their match companies.
The aim of this annual event is to “make it easier” for the job seekers instead of spending hours, days and even weeks searching for a suitable employer, and on the other hand it makes it easier for the employer to meet the candidates face to face. This saves much time and allows more transparency.
What to do Before & During the Job Fair?
1-Revise your CV
Double check it, make sure you mentioned all the important details and you highlighted your powerful personality skills. Make sure you are not writing a “traditional” CV where most candidates write the same words and same skills. You are different, just show your difference in the CV.
2-Introduce Yourself
Remember you are not only handing out your CV, you are giving a first impression to the HRs in the fair. Make sure that you can introduce yourself well to them, be simple and enjoy the experience.
3-Bring Extra Copies of your CV
Below you will know how many companies are involved in this event. Just in case print 2 more extra copies and bring your flash memory with you.
4-Socialize
Make new friends and exchange contacts. As one entering the business world this is one of the most important assets a businessperson can do.
