I received the awaited call:

– Hello, Mr. Osama with me?

– Mr.!!! Oh yes.

– My name is “….” I am an organizer at Alexandria Model of Security Council. You will have an interview next Wednesday at 12:15 pm at Saint-Gabriel School, Sporting. Do you know the place?

– Yes.

– Great, do you have any questions?

– No, thank you.

– Ok, bye.

I tried to take deep breaths and think about what I’ll do. I have 48 hours to refresh my information and read about the current news and affairs.
After 2 days of searching and asking people about their experience regarding interviews, I woke up early, got neatly dressed, and headed towards the interview. I was initially very excited, however, while waiting for my interview, some people came out crying, and others – who were similarly waiting – appeared stressed. I particularly remember the guy sitting beside me who was very rude and aggressive. When I casually asked how he was doing, he replied with: “It’s none of your business, can you leave me alone?”
And then they called my name.

Although I had to switch to a different panel since the first interviewer was a friend of mine, from that point on, it all was – thankfully – very simple.
