Being a recruiter is one of the most difficult jobs, not because of the responsibility and obligation of being just and making the right choice, but there are other reasons too. Below is an example of some of the questions that recruiters ask, and get mainly the same answers:
Recruiter: Talk about yourself?
Candidate: My name is Ahmed, I studied business and I want to work with you.
Recruiter: Where do you see yourself in five years?
Candidate: Traveling the world.
Being a manager at your company.
An owner of my own business.
Recruiter: Why should we hire you?
Candidate: Because I am a multi-tasker, I am a leader and I am good at what I do.
Why shouldn’t you hire me?
Recruiter: Why did you quit your last job?
Candidate: Because I had problems with my manager.
Because I want to develop myself.
Being a recruiter isn’t easy. It means you have to be patient. You have to listen to the same answers again and again from hundreds of different people and never get bored. You have to be nice at all times to reflect the image of your own organization and to support candidates. If you are that kind of recruiter then you are very lucky, keep it up.
