Starthub is a 4-track program focused on the development of entrepreneurial interests of youth in the first track: youth empowerment, women in the second track: women empowerment, the third track: creative hub, focused on creative Ventures, whether related to arts and crafts or digital like photography and graphic design, the final track is tech hub, focused on IT related ventures. This event, in collaboration with Bibliotheca Alexandrina and youth for change, and various partners like TIEC, Hivos, Enpact, the Arab Academy Entrepreneurship Centre and numerous others who are in line with the objectives of the program, is to launch the first track of the program. Many entrepreneurs and successful business Ventures will participate in the opening event to showcase the objectives and highlight the importance of the project which aims to fill the business planning knowledge gap in the Alexandrian market, which will eventually result in the much needed development of the entrepreneurial ecosystem of Alexandria. The program aims to reach 5000 Alexandrians over the span of 2 years and connect them with those who can help them achieve their goals.
THE EVENT:
Most of us think about starting our own businesses at some point in our lives, feel afraid to take the first steps into entrepreneurship or need a guide to help us develop ideas we have.
Starthub is a guide to the entrepreneurship world for the youth who need business support by providing training programs, workshops, seminars and events delivered by experts in the business community, where they can learn more about entrepreneurship, develop their ideas and get inspired and motivated to start their own businesses. Our aim is to fill the gap between the market needs and the lack of knowledge concerning launching businesses.
