I will begin with asking you a very simple question, “Why HR?!”

Let’s take Egypt, for example, as our case study. In your personal opinion, how do you think Egypt can develop and improve? How is a country with such a great and documented history – a great “CV” – now categorized as an underdeveloped one? Surely the reason is not in the lack of its natural or human resources.

In fact, is Egypt is rich with those two kinds of resources. The problem is not in their availability, but rather in their management and distribution. You will find unqualified managers everywhere, while the actual leaders are working in forgotten places with unsuitable job titles. Their work is mismatched with their abilities and qualifications. This leads to the destruction of many intelligent ideas and thus the failure of many organizations. “Failure” does not mean “less profit”, but according to human resources failure also means loss in development, employee trust, and progress.

What we need is a professional HR department in each company and organization to assign roles to suitable people. God gave each of us talents and gifts that are very different from the next person. People are a great treasure, only if they are given the freedom, guidance and motivation to use their gifts in their respective suitable jobs.

It is the HR’s role to utilize those talents in the right place and direction.
