A unique virtual experience was provided this year by The First Annual 2020 Middle East Stevie Awards to celebrate the winners in this particular year.
The First Annual 2020 Middle East Stevie Awards is sponsored by Ras Al Khaima Chamber of Commerce and Industry. It is the only awards program to recognize innovation in the workplace throughout 17 nations in the Middle East and North Africa.
The Ceremony was mastered by Simon Relph.
An inspiring speech was given by the Keynote Speaker“Nashwa Al Ruwaini” Founder & CEO of Pyramedia Group, whereas she highlighted that
“Over the years, the Stevies has become one of the business world’s most exclusive awards. But we must keep in mind that the Stevie award is not just given through a one-time achievement, but the culmination of all the hard work that is put in throughout the journey of the business.
Like a child Every business has to be nourished and groomed until it is ready to achieve great success. Therefore, applying year after year is important as the Stevie award represents the growth of your organization throughout the years.”
The virtual Stevie Award Ceremony was broadcasted across the world by the swap card network and YouTube.
For 18 years the Stevie awards programs have recognized excellence in business worldwide. Each year the eight Stevie awards competitions received more than 12000 nominations from organizations of all types and sizes in more than 70 nations.
The other seven competitions are the American Business Awards the International Business Awards the Stevie awards for women in business the Asia Pacific Stevie awards the Stevie awards for customer service and the Stevie awards for great employers.
Worth mentioning that, all organizations operating in 17 nations in the Middle East and North Africa were eligible to submit nominations in a wide range of categories honoring achievement in every aspect of work life from customer service and management to public relations and product development.
More than 500 nominations were reviewed in the Middle East Stevie Awards judging process this year by more than 90 professionals worldwide whose average scores determined the winners.
The Stevie Award winners were announced in February and since the beginning of March (check the full list of winnershttps://stevieawards.com/mena/2020-stevie%C2%AE-award-winners).
The Stevie Awards produced short video about the award-winning organizations followed by a prerecorded acceptance speech for both individual winners & winning organizations representatives.
In addition, a unique virtual red-carpet experience was provided for the winners to enjoy their photos with their awards along with a special background to celebrate the moment.
Maggie Gallagher, the Stevie Awards president, said “We aimed to honor organizations and individuals across the region. This year we received more than 500 nominations which is very impressive for our first-year event.”
She expressed her thankfulness especially for the volunteer judges, indicating that “We cannot run a successful Stevie words program without the participation of our volunteer judges. Each year more than a thousand professionals around the world participate in Stevie Awards judging”
In addition, Maggie highlighted that the new name of the competition will be the Middle East and North Africa Stevie awards to better represent the 17 nations represented within the awards program.
