“The lessons I learn in Network Marketing have an impact on all areas of my life, in the way how I interact with people around me, with my spouse, family and friends. But the best part about this profession is the friendships I build and the gratitude I get from influencing other people lives in a positive matter…”
Christopher Smaga
PM International is the biggest German network marketing company. But apart from reaching hundreds of thousands of sales and expanding to more and more countries, it has a unique structure that allows employees to be paid for their performance, not time. It allows anyone to join, test the products, and sell only after experiencing their advantages. Its marketing is based on testimonies, not promises, and its employees sell what they actually believe in.
HR Revolution Middle East Magazine: What could traditional companies learn from the structure of network marketing?
Christopher Smaga: In my personal experience, the biggest lesson that traditional businesses can learn from Network Marketing companies, is to honor and thank the top performer of the company.
HR Revolution Middle East Magazine: What training does a new team partner receive? What possibilities do they have to develop further?
Christopher Smaga: The first part is product and business training via our online courses and meetings or our monthly Business Academy with over 500 people
HR Revolution Middle East Magazine: How is commission/salary structure in PM International different from the one in traditional companies focused on sales?
Christopher Smaga: You don’t get paid by the hour, you get paid by bringing value to the marketplace. That means there is no cap on your income, the more people you help the more you will earn. And in the profession of Network Marketing you get a share of the takeover.
HR Revolution Middle East Magazine: What are the most important personality traits to be successful in network marketing?
Christopher Smaga: That one is tough to answer, because I see great Network Marketing leaders from all walks of life. But if I had to pinpoint one or two traits that they all have in common it would be persistence, patience and the willingness to accept setbacks.
HR Revolution Middle East Magazine: What does the number of new clients say about the state of health of the German society?
Christopher Smaga: Our organization Pm-International specialized in health, fitness and beauty is growing very rapidly over the last 3 years, one reason is the willingness to restore health and vitality in a sustained manner. A new generation, septic of traditional medicine and their symptomatic approach to healing, is growing up and open for alternative long term healing strategies. That can be seen all over the world with the Health and fitness movement on social media sites and in Germany.
HR Revolution Middle East Magazine: How can you apply what you have learned in network marketing in your daily life?
Christopher Smaga: The lessons I learn in Network Marketing have an impact on all areas of my life, in the way how I interact with people around me, with my spouse, family and friends. The way I think about my future. Personal goal setting, money management and encouraging others to do well. But the best part about this profession is the friendships I build and the gratitude I get from influencing other people lives in a positive matter. You have nothing to lose and everything you earn.
