The way an organisation manages its Human Resource is a key parameter in defining the success of that organisation in the long run. I have often read; Influencers say: ‘Don’t worry about your clients. Just take care of your employees and they will take care of your clients.’ This in itself indicates that how important Human Resource Management as a function is, for ensuring that all the different departments functioning in the company coordinate and work towards a common goal efficiently. Human Resource is one such resource whose performance can be maximized by means of motivation, training, learning & development.
Contrary to most of the people’s opinion, I strongly believe that HRM is one of the fields where valuable exposure can be attained in one’s professional life because in this field one learns ‘People Management’- which is the key to a successful corporate life. One also learns how the Human Resource can be directed in the right way and how can the efficiency and capability of this resource be maximised.
Personally, I have a fascination towards Recruitments. Screening of Candidates, Conducting different stages of interviews, Shortlisting the right profiles, Conducting Training workshops/Coaching candidates majorly constitute the Recruitment Process. Every time this process is conducted, there is always a scope of added innovation in it which can help make it more effective. In my opinion, maximum amount of creativity and strategy in this process can help a company get the best talent!
