In the evening of Friday 25th October 2019, an extraordinary event took place in the heart of Cairo targeting those who seek the answer to what HRM is. Leaders for consultations and training was able to achieve the impossible equation of delivering high quality content with the most affordable fees possible. 

It all informative event began with a tremendous speech by Dr. Hanan Abdel Moniem (Midor HR Manager and OGS Upper Egypt Director) Her speech was about “Compassionate Leadership”. The main objective was to spot the light on the important of employee mental health wellness. Conduction great one-on-ones with employees reflects positively on human capital which leads to stronger profit and wealthier stakeholders.

Then it was time with a mind opening session by Mr. Mahmoud Mansi (Human Capital Consultant and the Founder of HR Revolution Magazine) His session was about Managing diversity in the organization. Starting from explaining what diversity is to a step by step guide to how to implement diversity and reserve your identity.

Strategic Management Planning is a skill that all people in the HR field should be aware of. That’s why Dr. Nermeen Roushdy (CPO / Consultant / Trainer) focused her speech on how we should (people working in the HR field) understand and implement strategic management planning.

One of the most important topics and skills needed to anyoneworking in HR is know how search for and select the perfect candidate. Our fourth session began by a great discussion between Dr. Lilian Pascal (Founder and CEO of Leaders Consulting and Training, 14 years of professional and academic experience in several fields, most importantly Business Consulting, Human Resources, Organizational Development and Training, HR Diploma from AUC 2010, Master of Business Administration MBA “HR Major” from the AAST 2013, DBA “in progress” from Ain Shams University) and the attendees about the steps of Recruitment and Selection. Starting from conducting job analysis to the orientation session for the new employees.

Dr. Tarek Hassan, (Seasoned HR Director & Consultant, Certified International Trainer/Facilitator, with over 25 years of experience in 28 Countries, SPHRi Certified, CIPD, CBI, TTI, and DiSC Personality Assessor & Coach), delivered an enriching session about performance management systems and their role in developing the overall performance of the organization. Explaining the performance cycle in an interesting manner that caught the attention of the attendees concluding the session by displaying a template for a KPI table and how to use it.

When an organization stops learning it is entering the decline phase. That’s why the Learning and development function had to be introduced. Mr. Magdi Sayed, HR Group Manager at DiefGroup (Human Capital Consultant & Trainer with more than 15 years of experience in Training field, SPHRi Certified, Excellence Assessor at EFQM since 2014, MBA “HR Major” from Ain Shams University 2011), spotted the light on the relationship between human capital investment through learning and development by using the ADDIE Model as a reference during the implementation process. The concept of calculating the ROI of training was introduced and practiced by the attendees.

Completing the rest of HR functions, Mr. Mostafa Saeed, HR consultant and trainer (More than 10 years of Experience in HR Field, Presenting Consultations and Interactive Workshops since 2010, MBA “HR Major”, PHRi Certified, also He worked as HR Manager for many Companies) , introduced the compensation and benefits function to all the attendees easily and smoothly. He introduced the compensation factors and the compensation administration process ending up his session by the most common job evaluation techniques.

Complying with governmental laws is a must. That’s why Mr. Mahmoud Mohamed, HR Manager at Dekahlia Group (15 years of Practical Experience in HR Field, HR Manager & Consultant for many Companies, Holds a lot of Technical Certificates in Labor Law & Social Insurance, The Author of Several Articles & Researches in Personnel Field, Developed many HR Systems in different Companies, In addition to being a professional HR Trainer with several years of experience), discussed and explained to the attendees the new updates in both the labor law and the social insurance law.

Wrapping up the informative event, Ms. Sally Maowd (More than 10 Years of experience, Headhunter in one of biggest Groups of healthcare in KSA and Egypt, Experience in different Types and lines of business either in Telecommunication, CRM, Marketing, Medical Insurance, Human Resources and Medical Health Care Field for different areas of hiring, Certified for HRM by SHRM, TOT, Dealing with Difficult People)introduced to the attendees how to benefit from LinkedIn as a recruiter and how enhance the interviewing techniques. At the end of the day Leaders and the team of speakers had an objective to achieve which is to present rich content and deep knowledge to those who seek an opportunity in the HR sector.
